Wyatt's Birthday Party

Wyatt's birthday party was sooo much fun! We are so blessed to have so many people in our lives that love him so much! He's having fun playing with all the new toys!

I'm walking!

Wyatt's big 1 year birthday party was yesterday and it was a blast. Lots of people and lots of fun! I'll post a slideshow later of the pics, but in the meantime here's a video of our little walker! Sorry it's a little shaky, I kept sliding back to see how far he would walk!

Today is such a special day...it's Wyatt's 1st birthday!
It's amazing to us how fast this year has gone. Is it really possible that 1 year ago today we held a tiny miracle in our arms. And today that tiny miracle is not so tiny and wiggles to get out of our arms. Oh Wyatt, we love you more than anything. It's been so amazing to watch you grow and turn into quite the little boy! Your are so full of personality! You can't even use your words to tell us how you feel but you show us in so many other ways. You are so smart, loving, playful, silly, just a little stubborn (haha) but most of all you are our everything. We love you to infinity and beyond!

A Day at the Zoo

We took Wyatt to the FTW Zoo for the first time on Monday. It was our little pre-birthday celebration idea. We were supposed to be there first thing in the morning, but David got a business call and the client was driving up from San Angelo just to meet with him. So we waited until 1:30 pm to go to the zoo. That's right 1:30pm when the temp was 103. It's been awhile since I've been to the zoo and was thinking there are plenty of indoor exhibits (for the record - there are NOT enough indoor exhibits at the zoo)! It was way toooo hot, but it was still fun. One of my best friends Amy came with her kiddos Lindsey and Miles. Thanks for being such good troopers guys - next field trip should be to the Dallas Aquarium! We got to see lots of animals. Wyatt's favorite were the monkeys and penguins! Here are a few pictures from our hot/fun day...

Ms. Lizz let me buy her 9x9 bounce house that Ethan used since he was 2. I have a feeling this is gonna be a well worth it purchase. Wyatt absolultely loves it!!! Lizz set it up at school and we put Jacob and Wyatt in it and they had a blast. I knew right then and there, we had to have it. We will have it setup at the party next weekend for all to enjoy! Watching Wyatt try to walk in it is soooo funny. And yes he IS walking now! He does the Frankenstein walk and loves it. He gets so proud of himself!

First Haircut

Today Wyatt got his first haircut! I wasn't sure exactly how it would go. He did pretty good until she got the clippers out and then it was all over. The pictures explain it all. He looks so handsome and so BIG. Can't believe he's turning one in a week and a half!

Here are Wyatt's AMAZING proofs from his 1 year old photo shoot with David Leaser. He originally sent me the email with 170 pictures. I then narrowed it down to 91 and then now 77. So there are alot of pictures! But they are ALL so amazing. David captured so many amazing shots that I will treasure forever. Thank you so much David!

Summer Fun

We got Wyatt an awesome baby splish splash pool from Big Lots. I thought he would like it. He is ALL BOY and has no fear and practically throws himself around in his bath. He stayed in the pool for all of 5 minutes. He was kind of digging the shark for a little bit, but lost interest quickly. I honestly think the water was too cold and I'm thinking he'll like it next time. He did look pretty cute in his swimsuit.
