First day of School

Technically it's the first day of the school year (even though my kiddos go year round). Wyatt moved up to Ms. Amber's class in the summer so he stayed with her. He absolutely loves her. He calls her "Mammer". He has been the "office runner" a few times now. At first it made him a little upset because he couldn't stay with me but NOW he's over me and takes his job very seriously. Can't believe my baby boy is growing up. Here's his picture from this morning.

I failed in taking a picture of Whitney Lee this am but she looked adorable. Here are some pics of her from yesterday.

Hamming it up for her Momma.

Her pawpaw took this picture. Is she a goof ball or what. She's getting into the habit of sticking her tongue out when she smiles. So Silly.

This picture is actually a few weeks old just haven't had time to post it yet. Her teacher Ms. Jessica took it on her phone and she couldn't send it to me so this is a picture of a picture. Anyway, does she look like a diva or what. Even has her lips pursed.

Whitney meets the Bumbo

Ok. So I didn't talk much about Whitney in the last blog cuz I'm saving it for this one. She is my ABSOLUTE (2nd) Pride in Joy. I love this girl to pieces!!! Naturally when you have your 2nd child you worry. Can I possibly love this child as much as the first. Well, I'm here to say Oh, YES you CAN!!! I can talk for hours about our little "baby girl" (that's what we call her all the time). Even Wyatt has started saying "Hi baby girl".
Speaking of Wyatt, their relationship is already blooming. He did show a little bit of rejection the other day but I haven't seen it since. David wasn't home yet and I needed to go get dinner and so I asked Wyatt do you want to go for a car ride? He of course said Yea! and then said "up Momma" - wanting me to pick him up. I said I can't Wyatt I have to go get baby girl and put her in her car seat. He then said "NO Momma, baby ni-ni" (she was asleep in her swing). I said "you don't want baby girl to go with us?" he said "NO". I then said (with my heart breaking at the same time) I'm sorry honey she has to go with us. We can't leave her by herself." He said....."OK". Swoosh (swipe of my forehead). He hasn't shown a sign of jealousy since. Hopefully that was the last.
Now, back to the princess. She is absolutely fabulous! I don't know if it's because she's a girl or what but she started smiling up a storm at 4 weeks and still is. Rolled over last friday and at least 5 times today and she's not even 2 months yet! Ok, well maybe she's 2 months tomorrow. It just seems like she's doing everything so much faster than Wyatt did. Slow down baby girl!
We put her on the babywise schedule just like we did with Wyatt. He started officially sleeping thru the night at 10 weeks. She is 8 weeks and not sleeping thru the night. I guess she's doing everything else faster except this. She does only get up once. She takes her last bottle at 9 pm then goes to sleep and wakes up around 3 or 4 am. Then back up at 6 am. Not too bad. My body has finally adjusted to the 3 am feedings so it's not soo bad (hope David is not reading this..if so Honey, it is bad can you you get up with her tonight!).
So our little princess is amazing, amazing, amazing, blah blah blah now onto the pictures...

Now, don't be alarmed because Whitney is not wearing a bow in any of these pictures. I know, I know shocker! I do give her head a rest when we're at home.

Here she is for the first time in her bumbo hamming it up for the camera. Oh yeah, she still has beautiful big blue eyes. Hope she keeps them!

Here's Wyatt showing her all of his flash cards. So cute.

Showing her his favorite thing to eat "corn".

Smiling for Daddy!

Wow! It's been awhile since my last blog. I guess you can tell I'm back to work. It wasn't as big as an adjustment as with Wyatt. Mainly due to the fact that Whitneys teacher is Ms. Jessica who Wyatt had. So I merely handed her over and said here you go. I had no fears whatsoever! I no Jessica is amazing with those babies and I'm so blessed that both of my children started their Sloan School days with her!
So I have a little catching up to do so here we go...

2 weeks ago my grandparents came in from Houston to meet their first great-grandaughter!

My mom with all her children and grandchildren!

What a cute couple!

Some friends came over to meet Whitney and they brought their adorable daughter Lola. Funny thing is this time last year we brought Wyatt over to their house to meet Lola. Time sure does fly!
Wyatt enjoyed showing off his tractor to Lola. She didn't really care to ride in it. She'd rather chase him around when he was driving it.

Wyatt showing off. "Look no hands!"

My little man helping me clean the windows. I absolutely loovvvee that he loves to help me with anything! Now, I do have to say we had to put a call in to the dr shortly after this pic. I let him continue to clean the windows (anything to entertain him for a little bit) and stepped into the kitchen. Next thing i hear is "Momma, kucky". I said "what's kucky wyatt? As I see him with the windex bottle turned around facing his mouth. "Wyatt did you spray that in your mouth". "Yes momma. Kucky." After I calmed down we made him drink alot of water and needless to say he's fine. Mental note to self "Adult supervision required while cleaning windows".
