Pumpkin Patch

So on a cloudy, windy day we headed to the Flower Mound Pumpkin Patch for the first time. Evidently this is THE pumpkin patch to go to. We definetly enjoyed it. They have so much for the kids to do. My kids will enjoy it for sure as they get older. We had fun just walking around taking pictures with all the wooden figurines and pumpkins.Oh and they had a little hay maze for the kids. Very eventful day. Beware, this post is loaded with a ton of the cutest pictures you've ever seen!
Our little pumpkin princess.
Peek-A-Boo! I see you!
Some really good friends went with us. This is baby Ben. He slept through his first pumpkin patch. But still took great pics. Whitney wasn't quite sure what to think of him. She was very gentle with him. It was so sweet!
AWWWW. Now this picture made me teary eyed. My precious children walking hand in hand. Seriously does it get any better than this?

Yes, Whitney you will someday have a strawberry shortcake birthday party. Just like I did when I was little. Can't wait.
Some of our other friends. Lexie, Wyatt, and Dominic. Such Cuties!

And yet another parade

Every year the local high school has a homecoming parade that comes by our school. The kids love it. Especially the policemen on motorcycles and firetrucks! Every one in the school wears red to support the school. This is something we look forward to every year.
Wyatt and his friends waving at the police officers.
Wyatt was excited about something in this picture. Can't remember what. Too busy taking pictures.
Whitney got to see it this year too. She wasn't sure what to think about it.
Wyatt and his sweet girl friend Lexi. He SURE does LOVE this girl! Love that she's smiling so big you can't even see her eyes.
Playing on the playground at school after the parade.
Getting ready to go down the slide. His favorite thing to do besides run!

Sweet Baby Girl

Oh my sweet baby girl. She's growing up so fast. She's definitely developed a one of a kind personality. She's sassy, sweet, stubborn, loving, strong willed, cuddler, and the list goes on and on. We our complete for sure with her little surprise addition to our family. Can't wait to see what the future holds for her. Love you more than you'll ever know baby girl. XOXOXOXO

Crazy Boy

Wyatt loves doing anything that requires physical motion. A.k.a. running and jumping. I couldn't believe how much air he was catching juming off the couch. And YES I asked him to do it a couple times so I coud take these pictures. Have no fear. I had him stop shortly after. Mainly cuz daddy walked in the room and couldn't believe I was letting him jump. He was having soooo much fun!

First Day of School

This picture says so much about my children! This was the first day of the school year. Wyatt graduated to Ms. Becky's class and Whitney stayed in the same room. It's a tradition at our school to take your child's picture in front of the school sign every year. I waited until mid-morning to pull the kids for their picture. Wyatt, not so happy I pulled him and Whitney is more concerned about the Mom and daughter walking up the driveway. Love my babies!!!

July 4th

Unfortunately this year's July 4th was not very fun. Started off with Wyatt getting sick the day we were supposed to leave for the lake. He kept complaining about his throat hurting. I was pretty sure it was strep. Called the dr and she called something in. So we waited 24 hours. Went to the lake the next day and Wyatt was still complaining. I thought that was odd since he had antibiotics. 2 days later Whitney gets sick with the same thing. Fever and cranky. We didn't sleep at all!!! Not exagerating either. It was HORRIBLE. Couldn't wait to get home. We got home and took both of them to the dr. Turns out it wasn't strep it was a"virus" that caused horrible blisters on the throat with fever. NOTHING and I mean NOTHING helped. Oh yeah, did I mention I took the week of July 4th off as a vacation week. Little did I know it was going to be a sick week. Finally, got the kids to feeling better and then guess who gets the virus the day before she's supposed to return to work......ME. That virus was the meanest, sickest, nastiest virus I have EVER HAD!!!! So glad that week is over!
...these were the only pictures I got from our entire July 4th week.
Riding with his Nana on the lawn mower. Doesn't matter how sick he is, he NEVER turns this opportunity down!

Birthday at The Ballpark!

Hah! I'm back to blogging and it hasn't been 2 months like I thought it was going to be.
For Wyatt's Birthday we were treated (thanks Charley) to a trip to the Ballpark to see the BEST baseball team play. We had a blast!!! We parked in Lincoln Square and rode the bus over. WHICH I highly recommend. Wyatt loved riding the big bus. The picture is above. Blogger wouldn't let me start typing until below the pic.
These were our seats. They were great!

We got there early for pictures and for his first Ballpark hot dog. He loved it! (and so did I)
Cute boy + Super cute mom + "drunk" eyed looking dad = our family picture!
David has this crazy thing where he doesn't have normal eyes for pictures. He always looks like he's had a few. Makes me crazy, but I still love the pic.

National Basketball Maverick Playing Champion DIRK threw out the first pitch. And yes he threw it via a basketball. Loved it and the crowd was going nuts!!!
Hmmmmm. My favorite view of the game. What? Josh is a "great" player!

Look who graced us with their presence at the game. Is that random or what?

Where was Whitney you ask....At home being super cute with her Nana B!

Wyatt absolutely loved the game! We stayed for the entire thing. Even stayed for the fireworks show afterwards. Which Rocked!!!
So he did pretty good up until a certain point and we had to take a little trip to the gift shop! I'm a sucker for gift shops anywhere we go, so I was more than happy to take him. He got a little notepad and crayons. Everytime there was a big play he "wrote" it down. Have no idea where he got this idea from, but it was adorable. He took this job very seriously.

Ok, so these are some of my absolute favorite pictures from the game. Wyatt got very "INTO" this game. Anytime we cheered, he cheered. I love the look on Charley's face (Wyatt's pawpaw) watching Wyatt's excitement. I think we had more fun watching Wyatt's enthusiasm, than the game.
Love David's expression in this picture.
And this is my precious birthday 3 year old towards the end of the game. He did awesome. Was so patient, excited, well mannered, and so much fun. Never once did he ask to go home.
We had so much fun at the game. Thanks again Charley! Can't wait to take him again when the weather cools off.

No.....I haven't forgotten about blogging.

No.... I haven't forgotten about blogging. I think about it daily. Scratch that...the thought of it ANNOYS me daily. But I have recently added an entire mound of things onto my plate that are taking alot of my time. Before I get into that - let me fill you in on our adventures.....
The day after Wyatt and Whitney had their birthday pictures taken I buzzed Wyatt's hair off. I was a little nervous, but thought how hard can this be.....
Don't think he's feeling good about this.
I think I did pretty good. Only bad thing is I have to do it evey 2 weeks because his hair grows so fast!
My good friend Lizz (a.k.a. tutu birthday girl in the middle of the pic) forced, I mean convinced me to do a firefly 5K "run" on her birthday. I thought sure this is what I need to make me get back into working out. Yea....that idea worked for the first week and then my kids took turns being sick, then I got sick, and then BAM it was time for the race. This was my first 5 K and my last 5K I will ever do in the summertime. In fact, I'm very thrilled with the fact that I'm still alive and posting this today (all be it's 2 month's late). Because I thought I was going to D.I.E. I couldn't breath, walk, talk nothing. All I could think about the entire time was "I'm going to kill Lizz!" So, with all that I will say, I will be doing this race again (because they moved it to the month of October). The concept of the run was great. Everyone was decked out in head to toe in very creative "light up" ways. The best part of the race was going to Mi Cocinas afterwards! I think we should make that a tradition for sure! So we'll be doing this race again in the near future and if you want to RUN a.k.a. walk really, really fast with me, let me know. I'd love for you to join me!
Here we are ready to run. Boy do we look stoked or what. Little did I know how much I would hate this run!

This is after the run. Thank goodness you can't smell the picture. This was the most humid night ever and there was a stink everywhere!
This was really cool. After the race these dancers put on a little show.

Birthday party pool time. Our first pool adventure of the summer was a birthday party for one of Wyatt's classmates. We had a blast!
Whitney loved "swimming" around in Allie's ladybug floaty. Thanks Allie!

Karley's birthday party was on Wyatt's actual birthday. Little did we know they had a little surprise for him. After she opened all of her presents they had 2 presents for Wyatt. I almost cried. No kidding, I really did. How sweet of them to think of my precious baby on their special day.
They couldn't have picked better presents to give him. The boy LOVES trucks!

So this is part 1, maybe in another 2 months I'll get you part 2.
