2 weeks after Whitney finished her antibiotic amoxicillin from her double ear infection she broke out in this horrible rash. For the life of me I couldn't figure out what it was from. We hadn't changed any soaps or detergents at home and she wasn't eating anything new or different. Within 24 hours the rash got worse. She didn't seem to be in any discomfort despite how bad it looked. She wasn't running a fever and she wasn't scratching it. We decided to go ahead and take her to the dr. As soon as the dr opened the door she said "She's allergic to penicillin."Evidently you can have an allergic reaction up to 3 weeks AFTER you've taken medicine. I questioned the doctor heavily on this because I wasn't exactly convinced about it. But at the end of the day I couldn't imagine it being anything else but the reaction. So we kept her on Benadryl for a couple days and it went away. But when Whitney gets asked for the rest of her life are you allergic to any medicine, she'll have to say yes penicillin.
She is officially crawling now! No more putting off the deep clean(at a little persons level) of the house. The time is NOW!!!
David was messing around with the camera and actually got Wyatt to stop and pose for a second in this picture. I was impressed because it was a beautiful day and we were making the best of it.

She loves watching her brother play outside. I think she could sit in the stroller for hours watching him.

court had the SAME reaction to amoxycillin. he got his rash on day 8 of taking the meds. he looked like he was going thru puberty for about 2 weeks! awful! poor whit! such cute pics of your two cutie pies!
you got the two cutest little ones. both heartbreakers. glad whitney is over her poor reaction. why didn't you post the picture of your allergic reaction in the eye??? HA HA HA HA
