Happy 2nd Birthday Wyatt!

Today was Wyatt's 2nd Birthday! Can't believe our little guy is not a "baby" anymore. He's moved into the "Toddler" category. We are still in awe of him as if we just brought him home from the hospital. I knew I was meant to be a mother but little did I know that God would give me such an amazing little boy (and little girl :)
We took Wyatt to Toys-R-Us to pick out his birthday toy and he picked out (with mommy and daddys help) a Little Tykes fire truck that has a water holder on the back. So he can help mommy water the flowers and put out any "fires" we may have. He had so much fun testing out all the bikes and tractors in the store. Then we took him to McDonalds for lunch and ice cream. Tomorrow family is coming over for a little celebration.

Whitney update - She is now 9 days old and is doing awesome! We are still working on her day/night clock. The other night she was up from 11 pm to 5 am. No Kidding!!! But then last night she slept for 7 hrs from 9 pm to 4 am. Yippee. Hope she does the same tonight.

Here's Wyatt being silly in his fire truck that was not completely put together yet.

At McDonalds with Daddy. As you can tell David looks tired in this picture and he has a sinus infection. Poor Guy.

Mommy and Wyatt. He insisted on saying "Cheese" with a fry in his mouth.

Helping mommy put the fire truck together. I thought this would be a fun project for us. Not! It took over an hour to put together.

The finished product.

Here was his other big present. A friend of ours son outgrew his John Deere Gator HPX and gave it to Wyatt. THIS is Wyatt's favorite. I wish I could imitate how he says this but I'll try to put it into words. He says with a low growl in his voice "My tractor, vroom, vroom". (Funnier in person).

Here he is throwing a fit because we made him come inside and had to leave his tractor outside. I know, we're such mean parents but he needed to eat dinner.

Our little princess has arrived....

Our little princess Whitney Lee arrived on 6/16/10 at 6:58 am. Weighing 7lbs 3 oz and 19 1/2 inches long. Everything went smoothly. I only pushed for 18 minutes!!! She's absolutely beautiful and perfect. She has a very laid back disposition (so far). The best part is no matter how loud Wyatt is it hasn't phased her at all!! She sleeps right through it. Wyatt has been amazing with her. He loves her soooo much!
Here he is giving her some lovin.....

Loving the outdoors

Wyatt finally decided to start pushing the button on his 4-wheeler to make it go. Now we can't get him off of it.

I knew this day was coming.....When David is on his cell phone (which is all the time) you'll usually find him pacing around outside. One evening while we're on the back porch David gets a call and walks off on the phone. Wyatt then says..."momma, i wan phone". I went and got him my old phone and he took off to where his daddy was and did exactly as he did. Priceless.

2 Months from 2 Years Old!

It's hard to believe that in 2 months our perfect little guy will be 2 Years Old! Not only that but by the time he turns 2 he will be a big brother!

Here he is being totally silly riding his "toy" tractor.

Being way too adorable on his 4 wheeler. Still won't push the button on it to make it go. Insists on using his legs. Probably why his calf muscles are solid as a rock!

Sitting in his new favorite spot...

Can't believe my precious baby is about to be 2!

So true, so true,

You've probably already seen this in an email, but wanted to post it for those of you who haven't. I copied it from an email so formatting is not perfect. Was not even about to retype this. You must read them all......way to true and hysterical.

Even when opportunity knocks, you still have to get up off your seat and open the door.

1. I think part of a best friend's job should be toimmediately clear your computer history if you die.

2. Nothing sucks more than that moment during an argument whenyou realize you're wrong.

3. I totally take back all those times I didn't want to napwhen I was younger.

4. There is great need for a sarcasm font.

5. How exactly are you supposed to fold a fitted sheet?

6. Was learning cursive really necessary?

7. Map Quest really needs to start their directions on #5. I'mpretty sure I know how to get out of my neighborhood.

8. Obituaries would be a lot more interesting if they told youhow the person died.

9. I can't remember the last time I wasn't at least kind oftired.

10 Bad decisions make good stories.

11. You never know when it will strike, but there comes amoment at work when you know that you just aren't going to do anythingproductive for the rest of the day.

12. Can we all just agree to ignore whatever comes after BlueRay? I don't want to have to restart my collection...again.

13. I'm always slightly terrified when I exit out of Word andit asks me if I want to save any changes to my ten-page research paperthat I swear I did not make any changes to.

14. "Do not machine wash or tumble dry" means I will neverwash this - ever.

15. I hate when I just miss a call by the last ring but when I immediately call back, it rings nine timesand goes to voicemail. What did you do after I didn't answer? Drop the phone and run away?

16. I hate leaving my house confident and looking good andthen not seeing anyone of importance the entire day. What a waste.

17. I keep some people's phone numbers in my phone just so Iknow not to answer when they call.

18. I think the freezer deserves a light as well.

19. I disagree with Kay Jewelers. I would bet on any givenFriday or Saturday night more kisses begin with Miller Lite than Kay.

20 I wish Google Maps had an "Avoid Ghetto" routing option

21. Sometimes, I'll watch a movie that I watched when I wasyounger and suddenly realize I had no idea what the heck was going onwhen I first saw it.

22. I would rather try to carry 10 plastic grocery bags ineach hand than take 2 trips to bring my groceries in.

23. The only time I look forward to a red light is when I'mtrying to finish a text.

24. I have a hard time deciphering the fine line betweenboredom and hunger.

25. How many times is it appropriate to say "What?" before youjust nod and smile because you still didn't hear or understand a wordthey said?

26. I love the sense of camaraderie when an entire line ofcars team up to prevent a jerk from cutting in at the front. Staystrong, brothers and sisters!

27. Shirts get dirty. Underwear gets dirty. Pants? Pants neverget dirty, and you can wear them forever.

28. Is it just me or do high school kids get dumber & dumberevery year?

29. There's no worse feeling than that millisecond you're sureyou are going to die after leaning your chair back a little too far.

30. As a driver I hate pedestrians, and as a pedestrian I hatedrivers, but no matter what the mode of transportation, I always hatecyclists.

31. Sometimes I'll look down at my watch 3 consecutive timesand still not know what time it is.

32. Even under ideal conditions people have trouble locatingtheir car keys in a pocket, finding their cell phone, and Pinning theTail on the Donkey - but I'd bet my all everyone can find and push thesnooze button from 3 feet away, in about 1.7 seconds, eyes closed, first time, every time!

Whitney's 4D Ultrasound Pics

We went to the Dr on wednesday for our 4D ultrasound and 30 week checkup. Whitney did fabulous. She even smiled for us and I mean a really big "gummy" smile! David said he could hardly tell the difference between Wyatt and Whitney's pics. Of course me being the mom said sure you can tell my children apart. That night we got out Wyatt's 4d pics and compared them to Whitney's and WOW! You can definetly tell they are brother and sister. See if you can tell the difference.....
This is Wyatt....

This is Whitney...

Wyatt....

Whitney...

Probably shouldn't post this...

...because I think David might not be to happy about this. So on occasion (like everyday) Wyatt usually sees me putting on my makeup in the car in the mornings. Well, I guess one morning I put my makeup bag on the backseat and that evening on the way home I noticed he was very quite. I look back and he has taken all my makeup out and tried to put it ON! Yikes! I was hysterically laughing and immediately called David who was not happy. Wyatt only succeeded in putting the blush in the right area. Somehow he got my eyebrow liner on his lips and was trying to use the eyelash curler on his hair. Really it was priceless. However, I think it's time I get up 5 minutes earlier so I can put my makeup on at home and not in the car. Putting makeup on is something I only want to teach Whitney!

A Fun Family Weekend

Our little family had so much fun hanging out this weekend. It started off with me taking off work Thursday and Friday for some family fun (before we come a family of 4 and while I can still somewhat easily move around). We went to the FTW Zoo on Thursday (along with 3 billion elementary children). Little did I know that after the TAKS test the elementary kids get to go to the zoo!! (Mental note - call ahead next time). It took Wyatt a little while to warm up to seeing all the fun animals because he was overwhelmed by the kids. I'm telling you, there literally were 3 billion elementary children. We got smart though, because when you walk in everyone was going to the right so we went to the left and did the trip "backwards". We had a blast. The morning started out a little chilly but ended up an absolutely beautiful day! Much better temps than last year when we took Wyatt for his 1 year birthday and it was 110 degrees!
All wrapped up and strollin around the zoo!

Wyatt's favorite part of his lunch was dipping his Lays chips in ketchup. Really! Who does that? Sorry Ms. Jessica, I know your totally grossed out.

I loved this picture. "Love Birds"

This orangutan was hysterical! He took the blanket and put it over his head soo....

We told Wyatt he was playing peek-a-boo and he thought that was sooo funny!

My sweet boys!

Wyatt's favorite part and the end of our zoo trip were the monkeys.

Friday, we went to the FTWorth Children's Museum. Great idea right? Wrong - Guess how many elementary children were there? 2.5 billion. Another mental note-call ahead. Despite the billion children we did have fun and captured a few pics.

Checking out something interesting. I forgot what (sorry pregnancy brain).

I loved all the hands on activities.

Of course, Wyatt's favorite part was the slide in the gift shop....

Silly boy! He loves those slides.!

Besides the zoo, and the museum, we went to a lot of different outdoor parks, Wyatt's cousins birthday party, hanging out at Daddy's "Shop"(David now owns a lawnmower repair shop and Wyatt loves to go see all the tractors! Yes David also still sells real estate), and we also spent a ton of time playing outside at the house. Yesterday evening when David and Wyatt were on a walk they saw a wild turkey run across our property. Great! Now I'm just waiting for the deer. David is never going to let us move from here. To wrap up the week David took Wyatt on his first ride on the lawn mower or as Wyatt refers to it the "tractor". He had a blast!

Pregnancy update - Everything is going great. We're getting so anxious to meet her! We have our 3D/4D ultrasound on Wednesday so I hope to have some great pics to post.

Catching up...

It seems like every other post I'm posting about catching up. Wyatt has been keeping us real busy. Here's what we've been up to.
Here's Wyatt having a good time with his Aunt Lindsay on St. Patty's day.

This weekend he and his daddy got haircuts. This is the before pic...

And this is after. It's hard to tell but it's the Caesar cut. He didn't cry at all this time. Such a big boy!

Looking so handsome with his new haircut.

Last weekend the weather was so beautiful (unlike this weekend) and we took full advantage of it.
Here's Nana giving Wyatt a wagon ride. He had a blast.

And then he played a little soccer. Look at that focus and drive on his face. He's definetly our little athlete.

Had to post this picture. Just love it!

Here he is helping Momma with his own gardening tools.

A Beautiful Day...

As soon as we realized how pretty today was going to be we took off for the park. Wyatt absolutely LOVES to be outside. As soon as he saw the park from inside the car he was beside himself. Really! He was going CRAZY in his car seat. I think his favorite part was sliding down the slide with his Daddy. As I'm listening to this week's forecast (snow again!) I am so glad we took the opportunity for some outside play time!
